Summer at home shouldn’t feel like this

UK summers are getting hotter, and most homes weren’t built for it. Here’s what we hear every day, and how we fix it.

Cost to run

Cheaper to run than you’d think

Modern inverter air conditioning is remarkably efficient. Here’s what a highly efficient bedroom unit costs to run at today’s energy price cap.

13p

Up to

It heats your home too

Most of the systems we fit run in reverse in winter, producing around 3 to 4 units of heat for every unit of electricity they use. Great for taking the chill off the rooms you use most.

Based on a highly efficient (A+++ rated) 2.5 kW wall-mounted unit drawing about 0.49 kW at full cooling output, at the Ofgem price cap electricity rate of 26.32p per kWh (1 October to 31 December 2026). Inverter units usually run below full power once the room is cool, so costs are often lower. Larger units and other tariffs cost more. Portable comparison assumes a typical unit drawing around 1 kW.

Smart control

Your perfect temperature, from anywhere

Most of the systems we fit come with Wi-Fi control through the manufacturer’s app, so you’re always in charge, even when you’re not home.

Cool it before you get home

Switch on from the train and walk into a comfortable house.

Set schedules that suit you

Cool the bedroom before bed, warm the lounge before breakfast.

Every room, its own setting

Adjust each room separately from one app.

Voice control on compatible models

Works with popular smart speakers on many of the models we fit.

FAQs

The questions everyone asks us

Can’t see yours? Give us a call on 01704 630 515.

Single rooms start from £1,695 fitted, and two-room systems from £3,495. Your exact price depends on the size of unit, the brand and the pipe run, and we confirm it in writing within 48 hours of your free survey. 0% finance is available.

We keep units from all four brands in stock, so we’re not waiting on deliveries. We’ll offer you the earliest installation date available when we confirm your fixed price.

No. We sort the power for you, including a new circuit if your system needs one, so there’s nothing electrical for you to arrange.

Very little. We protect your floors and furniture, make one small hole for the pipe run, keep dust down and take all the packaging away when we’re done.

Less than most people expect. A highly efficient bedroom unit costs up to about 13p an hour at full power at today’s energy price cap, and inverter units usually run below full power once the room is cool.

Modern indoor units are very quiet, and night modes run the fan at a whisper. We also position the outdoor unit to keep noise away from you and your neighbours.
